Nancy  Her consistency surpasses even the greatest of WTA legends. Did Navratilova dish out such lopsided scorelines in nearly every match? I don't think so. Did Evert ever record a CD of piano music and sell it on Ebay? Hell no. Has Dementieva ever served as consistently as Nancy? I doubt it!

Next stop for Nancy: The Hall of Fame!

It's definitely happened to seven of my nine fanees (in singles), but have Iroda Tulyaganova (http://geocities.com/andrewbroad/tennis/tulya/) or Nicole Vaidišová (http://geocities.com/andrewbroad/tennis/vaidi/) ever squandered match-points and lost? I know Iroda did in her Wimbledon 2003 Mixed Doubles quarter-final, but I'm not aware of her ever doing such in singles.

I'm talking about top players, not poor Amy and Nancy. Players like Ana and Nicole and Iroda(if it ias true that the latter two haven't). I can only remeber one match where Serena has though, against Patty in Charleston one year, she had one match point. There probably are more though?

Ana Ivanovic (read it here, didn't check the records to confirm, but it makes perfect sense)

It could also mean she never came close to having match points against the players who she's never beaten..

Oh my gosh...Never knew about Nancy that much before until someone posted the link to her profile in here!!

How could someone be BAGELLED so many times in her career like that??
What brought her to be a well-known commentator then??

Do you mean, how did she become so well known? That's easy. Everyone here (for the most part) watches players in the Challenger section, and it wasnt long before people on the board noticed her name beside so many double bagels. How old is she now, 43? She's not exactly inconspicuous. ;)

I'm afraid you're being over-optimistic.

Justine used to choke a lot in her first years. I'm sure it happened quite often.

I think it happened to Hingis only twice in her whole career: AO 2002 and Miami 2006...
Clijsters: twice that I can remember: 2003 AO and 2003 Berlin...

I only follow 75k and some 50k. Does that make me unhip?

I cant think of any matches that Justine lost after having match points. She used to choke, but she never got to match points.

Ana Ivanovic (read it here, didn't check the records to confirm, but it makes perfect sense)

In her PRO career she have more than 75 matches so far where have MP and never lose!

Also, she still never lose (in career) some set with bagel (0-6).

I've just thought of one that justine might have had match points in and lost. Against Venus at Amelia Island she lost 2-6, 7-5, 7-6, or a score similar to that. There's a good chance that she might have had match points in that match.
