A tier 1 tournament in Holland and a tier 2 tournament in South Africa. It would be also great if a Tier 1 tournament would be held at Hawai, I think a lot of tennisplayers would go there.

They should have a tournament at the Westside Tennis Club in Houston, they only used it for the Mens Claycourt Championship :o Why not add a hard court or clay tournament for the WTA.

I grew up watching that Virginia Slims or whatever tourney( the one with the 5 setter) that ended the year in NYC. I really wish that one was still going on in some form or another. I think New York has great tennis. I doubt there would be as many empty seats in MSG as there was at the YEC in LA last year.

Serbia (Belgrade) would definitely deserve at least a tier III with 2 players in top 20. If I recall it correctly some months ago the organizer of the ATP challenger in Belgrade (100K) allegedly said there was an offer for a tier IV but people in charge prefer solution to wait for a tournament of a higher level. He ment too "money would be no problem".
If it would be indoor the new Belgrad`s "Arena" would be a perfect venue. It has 20.000 places. With JJ and AI playing the tournament whatever the level might be, even such a huge venue would not be scarcely filled...

We had a Tier IV? wow. uhhh i'd like a tier III here, it's a pretty big city in canada, and considering how montreal and toronto have big tournaments, I think we should have a decent tournament here.

Either Las Vegas (which I think is coming anyway) or Santa Barbara, CA. 2007 is the last time the Acura will be played at La Costa in San Diego. How about moving that event to Santa Barbara? Is there a facility in Santa Barbara that can host a pro tennis tournament?

Change Eastbourne to a Tier I, it's one of the oldest all women's tournaments in the world, and add a Tier II to the week before.

Move one of the claycourt Tier I's or II's to South America, the fact that they are played in the USA is a shame.

Good call on Vegas. You said you think it is coming anyways? Which month do you think it's coming. I love Vegas but it's a miserable, miserable place to be in summer so hoping it would be post Australian Open or post US Open.

In 2008 three world TOP10 tennis players (Ivanovic and Jankovic in WTA and Djokovic in ATP) will be from Belgrade - that is more than from all 4 GS cities and all tier-I (without Moscow) cities togheter!!! Right now only Moscow, Belgrade and Basel have more than one TOP20 world players (even for TOP30 players is same thing).

Also, next year (or in 2008) new big tennis center complex will be ready in Belgrade...

So... Belgrade deserve strong tournament in both competition already in 2008 (for WTA tier-II is OK).

Also, i agree that Argentina, Africa and (one more in) East Europe (St. Petersburg or Kiev for example) deserve to have one strong tennis tournament.

I'd like to see a South American leg in the tour. We already have Colombia and Mexico, so why not have tournaments in Argentina, Brazil, and Puerto Rico leading into Bogota and Acapulco?

A Hawaiian tournament should push back Bali so that there can be an extended Asian leg at the end of the year. Instead of just starting in Bali and then going to Beijing, Guangzhou, Seoul, Tokyo and then ending in Bangkok, why not continue on to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore?

Pattaya Open upgrade to Tier 3... in fact its $5000 more!
it okay if Bangkok Open still in Tier 3 with $200,000

it impossible to be more than 2 WTA tours for Thailand which have 5 players
in top500 so I don't think it possible to be higher tier and more tours.
(China, Japan and Thailand have two WTA tours)

so I think the tournament in Malaysia, Singapore and Taipei could be possible
the schedule should be somewhere after Australian Open. :hearts:
