But wasting a MP makes her look even worse... and it's tougher to swallow that loss... another loss :rolleyes: :sad:

It's sad to see her lose like that but many players go through slumps at various times. She just needs to play out the rest of the season, get her head together and re-evaluate during the break, and come back next year reinvigorated.

akiko!!! glad to see that your time outside of the top 100 was short lived.

i think akiko is a very underrated player. the thing is, she seems to have a fantastic win and fades in the next round. i hope she can become more consistent!

Too bad Makiri. :sad: I think she's mentally burned out. Like others have mentioned before, she needs to shut it down, re-evaluate, recover, and prepare for 2007. Makiri and Sears need to sit down and talk about her game, her strategy, identify what are her key strengths, and weaknesses in her game that both of them can work on for next year.
