The second and final round in qualification was against Ekaterina Ivanova from Russia. Unfortunately Yuliana lost, 6-4, 6-3.

Lost QR1 FO today against Japonese Nara, too many double faults :o

She's currently on a small Italy-tour. Last week she played Rome (lost first round to LDL 4-6, 0-6), now she's in Campobasso (seeded 4, playing first round against Camila Silva (CHI / JE) ), next week she'll be in Padova (seeded 1, so she'll won't be qualifying for Wimbly...... :sad:)

Does anyone have some news about Yuliana? I expected to see her appear on acceptance lists, but so far she didn't.
Has she retired, or maybe she's injured?

She's still listed in the rankings - #309. Don't see anything else about her. :sad:

Just found out she played doubles at two $10k's in Kazachstan last October.

Maybe planning a return?

That would be nice. I miss seeing her at tournaments.
