I'm actually spewing about our draw. We haven't had a home tie since 2003 and I was sure it would come around this time... not to be :(

It means that the two team had never played each other before, so the country that would host the tie was decided by basically pulling names out of a hat.

You don't know what Venus
or Lindsay will do! :p

IMO, both may play if healthy.
It's at home and they get to
choose the surface.

any body know? about the Indonesian Team status?

Hopefully banned for some years.

Edit: Indonesia has indeed been banned by the ITF from taking part in Fedcup 2007. Furthermore, Indonesia has to pay a fine worth $31,600 for not playing against Israel.

Indonesia has to restart in Group II of the Asia / Oceania group. (Competitors there are Jordan, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria)

I dont think any of the suspensions are really valid. I can't see any team sitting out one of their key players if available.

Ummm Davenport is pregnant and probably retired. Bartoli has problems with the FFT and probably won't play Fed Cup. Also why wouldn't Flipkens be on the Belgian team?
