If your question is : why are there only Taiwanese players at RG and no Chinese players, it is just a question of ranking.

Taiwanese players had sufficient ranking to be either in the main draw (Janet Lee) or qualifying draw (Su Wei Hsieh), while Chinese players did not have a sufficient ranking.

Among the Chinese players, only LI Na could have made it (in the qualifying draw) but she has withdrawn from most of her past tournaments, most probably due to recurrent back injuries.

Does this answer your question :) ?

I don't like Chinese Taipei though I live in Taipei ;). It's a political problem so we Taiwanese have to undergo it :( .

I think Taipei is a city (capital city?) in Taiwan. I don't know why they use "Chinese Taipei" rather than "Chinese Taiwan" or something.

Anyway,... I visited Taiwan early this year and it has much better climate than I thought. Looks like good place for tourist.
