It's no fun to win by an opponents retirement, but good job anyway Anna!!! True, it's not her best surface (leading up to your LEAST favorite slam) but I see no reason she couldnt take advantage of this abbreviated draw! WIN WIN WIN!!! :)

Her least fave slam is definely Wimby. Good to see Anna win a match, hopefully she can progress further

I'll give you that rightous :) However, she has made it no further at the US Open than she has at Wimby (3rd round of both). So results-wise, they're not really where she shines :)

Interesting to note, while reviewing her records, that she beat 13 seed Lori McNeil in the first round of the US Open in 1994 :eek: - I'd say that's probably one of her best quality wins in a slam - and that was 12 years ago !!!

Let's hope that if this IS her last Open, that she gets further than round 3 :)
