As a dedicated pop icon goddess worshipper...I have to admit that I have very little interest in the forthcoming BEYONCE cd...she has never really done it for me at all.
Same for CHRISTINA AGUILERA...have had little interest in her pervious product and the new single doesn't work for me either.
I will probably pick up the new JACKSON cd...although I wish she would steer clear of the collaborations...she doesn't need some mediocre, over-rated male rapper popping up on every track...too predictable.
JESSICA...he new single has a pop production that I like...however the song itself isn't particularly strong (and reminds me too much of of a Debbie Gibson hit "Shake Your Love" from 1988). I will have a look at who produced the albums tracks and then considergiving it a listen based on who worked on it.
PARIS...I must admit that I have a soft spot for anything blonde, dancey and mediocre...so I am hoping that there are better offerings on the cd than the first single. I was hoping that the long awaitied PARIS album was going to be a harder edged, club friendly cd...but she seems to have gone the safer commercial route.

Just wanted to comment that I like Paris cd cover ALOT .... although likely that would be the only thing about the album I would like.

I'd probably have said Christina if her 1st single didn't suck so much (IMO, obviously), and the only other one I care for is Jessica (for her early days), so I pick her. ;)

omg jessica is doing you spin me round >_<

lol she is really trying to become one of the premier sex symbols of this decade.

yea her 1st single is kind of strange. i like how its unique and all but it just doesn't work.

Though "Deja Vu" is not so impressive.

Aug 6th, 2006, 11:23 AM
I can't imagine Jess' doing "You Spin Me Around (Like A Record)"
"Take My Breath Away" is such a failure that I can't expect more from Jess.

PS:"A Public Affair" is really impressive.

Aug 6th, 2006, 01:32 PM
None out of that lot, to be honest  I'll wait to hear some more of what Christina's sounds like but I don't like the song she's just released so just based on that song I won't be buying it but I'll wait to hear some more before I completely discount it ;) Same with Beyonce's, hate that song she's just put out but I'll wait to hear some other songs before I completely discount the album :tape:

From that list I'd have to go with Janet. However, I'm much more excited about the return of Ms Jody Watley and her new album 'The Makeover' :
