Gotta go with movies there, they are way more involving and give more food for thought. With sound and images coming at you there is a much higher rate of information to absorb. Music is a good way to pass the time or relax, but it's possible to live without it.

Interestingly, I have watched about 1500 full movies in my life, but I have only listened to about 600-800 different CDs.

I try and watch a movie a day, or part of a movie at least. I also will soon start studying film which I am interested in so movies

movies are more involving and more engaging, but in some ways, it makes u less productive -- you can still be doing other things while you are listening to music, like posting on wtaworld.com lol. It's Much harder to pay attention to movie and wtaworld.com at the same time.

also, to me, there is such a greater percentage of crap movies in the movie industry than the percentage of crap songs in the music industry. i don't like engaging in something so involving if its going to waste my time.

and as said before, movies wouldn't be the same without a soundtrack.

Instead, i would watch movies on my ipod or buy music dvds to watch :lol:
