No, not Kim slips again, Jelena was choking again... she could win this match.. but didn't

Jankovic is overrated, Kim was sloppy. Just my opinion.

Great match from Jankovic, she was beating Kim in every stat after the second set. But I knew Kim would pull through as, other than her grand slam problems, she is a champion`s champion. She upped her game when she had to, begin serving well and edged Jelena out. Go Clijsters! Is a true pleasure having her doing well in America again this year.

yeah but that's not the point, she was only 2 points off Kim. She just needs to find that special brain cell to push up, she is finger nail close from being at top. She is worth much more then no.29. If she can beat Venus on grass and be equal with Kim on hardcourt.

Everyone says Kim was sloppy-that's just denying everything Jelena did. I hope she beats saome top10 soon so she can shut their mouth. They'll be affraid next spring when she enters top15-she's got no points to defend january-may. Watch for her!

Jankovic is overrated, Kim was sloppy. Just my opinion.

You got a point, Jelena outplayed Kim for a lot of the match. But it matters more which points you win as opposed to how many, and Kim came through in the deciding set when it mattered. That is what makes the difference between good players and champions, coming through when it is really on the line. Maybe Jelena will get there one day...

as for Clijsters, she played a lot of matches leading up to the USO last year where everybody thought she'd be dead tired by then. even though I don't think she's as sharp and as motivated this summer compared to last, it doesn't matter how many of these tough matches she plays...she's fit enough to win the USO Series again.

But it's huge step. It's not like if you will take 1 set then you have only 50% to go. Great champions like Kim know exactly how to manufacture those wins widthout putting to much effort into it. If match results would have been under siege then players like Kim have still couple of gears left to turn it around.
