oh sania! anyways congrats to elena. one of my favs is in qf. but sania plz beat the big gals once in a while. she comes close always but somehow can not finish the job. i guess with some expirience she will start to do better. atleast her form and confidence are coming back. i knew holding against lena will be tough coz lena returns very well and sania's serve still requires some input.

why does elena find a way to make all of her matches so close? she never has a breather 2 matches in a row. i guess we should have expected this after her great match against harkleroad.

WEll done Lena , typical 2nd set after winning first comfortably ,just knew we were going full speed ahead for set 3 ,then went down a break before heading hard-a-starboard and taking the next 4 games..

That third set was really close until Elena finally held to go up 4-3. Before that, Mirza broke her twice in a row, but Lena was able to break back.
