I know that most of you have seen a James Bond movie before, so which is your favourite / least favourite of the following:-

James Bond (from Sean Connery - Daniel Craig)
Movie (from Dr.No - Die Another Day [Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again is ommitted])
Song (follow as per the movies)
Villains (from Dr. No - Gustav Graves / Colonel Moon)
Henchmen (from Three Blind Mice - Zao)
Bond Girls (from Honey Rider - Jinx [Elektra King and Miranda Frost are also included in here, even though they are considered as villians])
Gadgets (take your pick from a variety of them)
Cars (Astro Martin DB5 or V8 Vanish? BMWZ3 or BMW 750iL? Take your pick!)
[You can search in www.wikipedia.com should you have any problems remembering the names, or if you don't know what the gadget / car / song or movie is]

Say it out loud... tell us your choice :wavey:

Favourite: The World Is Not Enough, largly because of Sophie Marceau, but I did find the movie entertaining as well. Peirce B, was the best Bond, and Connery was the worst.

Bond (tied to a table with a laser beam inching towards his crotch): "Do you expect me to talk?"

Goldfinger: "No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to DIE!"

That, to me, is why Goldfinger is the Mack Daddy of Bond villains. ;)

Wow. I had no idea Carey Lowell was so popular.

Sophie Marceau is a pretty good (and just plain pretty) bad gal, but yes. Goldfinger is awesome.

I had to go with Blofeldt for best bad gay, though, just 'cause he shows up in 3 movies. Longevity counts.

honestly i dont like the new bond films
the 1st Pierce Brosnan film was not bad, since then they've been going downhill.

maybe seeing them only once or twice might be to do with it, as i've seen the older ones probably 10 times or so.

Jane Seymour is definitely hot, even as Dr. Quinn. She would probably be my favorite Bond girl after Carey Lowell.

Honestly, I think the franchise is just getting a little long in the tooth. Attempts to update Bond (in many ways the original metrosexual) and make him politically correct eliminate much of his rakish charm, but you couldn't really take a Bond with his early '60s sensibilities intact very seriously. He is such a product of the postwar/Cold War world that he doesn't really fit in any more.

Hopefully, the next film will move him into the 21st Century and prove me wrong.

Does anyone know who the next bond girl is going to be?

I've heard so many rumors but none seem credible

Unfortunately for both Brosnan and the Bond franchise, he had to wait for the role. If memory serves me correctly, he was EON Productions' first choice to replace Roger Moore, but NBC wouldn't let him do it (remember "Remington Steele"?). EON hired Dalton (who made, in my opinion, the two worst films of the series), and Brosnan was left hanging for a while. Still, I would rank Brosnan second behind Connery.

License to Kill was a great Bond movie. It had a cool soundtrack, nice Bond girls including Felix Leiter's wife, great villains too. No one can be badder than Robert Davi, the druglord who has Leiter's wife raped and killed, one of his henchmen blown up in a pressure room (awesome scene) and Leiter thrown to the sharks. :lick:

I also loved the way Davi escaped at the beginning of the movie. The henchmen were also good, all of them including the cop who turns bad. Movie should have killed of Leiter though instead of Sharkey (his purpose in the movie served only one cause which was to be killed off). this would have been less predictable and so amde the movie better. Obviously Leiter can't be killed I guess. Nice also to see an actor who has played Leiter before retun to the role. I hated how they would always have a different actor for the role. Samething for Blofeld.

I just saw on the internet the new one is a remake of Casino Royale, a bit dissapointed but at the same time I like the idea of going back to the basics :yeah: they were starting to get way to unrealistic.
