As you can see from my flag I am from the US, but I really enjoy British music. I find that some of the best modern pop music has come from the UK, especially Sugababes and Girls Aloud. I also just got Beverley Knight's greatest hits and Nerina Pallot "fires" and I really enjoy both! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on other music that I might enjoy from the UK :D

what kind of music are you into?
If it's just pop I can't help you.
I only like urban/underground lol.

I only like Modern British Folk/Modern British Rock

I have a recommendation anyway:

Scottish (Americanish) band called Hobotalk

I think you'd love Mis-teeq, they have some nice songs as:
One night stand, Scandalous, Can't get it back, All I want, Style..

I am listening to Nerina Pallot a lot too. I had no idea she was British though, she sounds very American or possibly more Canadian.

Some good British music right now is coming from Snow Patrol, Zero 7, Imogen Heap, and The Kooks.
