Go on then! Tell me!!

I'm totally bored with music at the mo, and am in desperate need of something new to listen to that's going to excite me! Just to give you an idea, I have quite eclectic tastes, but some of my fave stuff includes:

Scissor Sisters
Ladytron
Goldfrapp
Gwen Stefani
Le Tigre
The Arcade Fire
Bjork
Kate Bush
Fischerspooner

So yea, I know its pretty difficult to suggest some stuff but just go for it! Shoot from the hip! :p :yeah:

....i'm waiting for your suggestions that are gonna change my life! :tape:

Razorlight are brilliant. Their music is especially suited for Summer listening coz its just all bright and happy, most of it. They also have a new album out next month so watch out for that :)

Thanks Dementrova, for your suggestions. What languages do they sing in? I'm gonna try Lila Downs now! :D

Desmond Dekker died recently and i've been reacquainting myself with ska.

ska is the grandfather of reggae, if yah don't mind old music.

The Knife's is the original, Jose Gonzales covered it. :) I love his version too, though.

You should try modern day swing music.. I don't like the older stuff from the 1930s, 40s, 50s, etc. but the renewed polished stuff by the "Swing Revival" bands are really great, fast, catchy, fun, and witty. It really gets your blood flowing and puts you in a great mood.

- Squirrel Nut Zippers (my avatar is one of their album covers)
- Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire
- Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers
- Royal Crown Revue
- Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Try Lily Allen. You can find her on myspace or download some. She has some really great indie-pop tracks. 'LDN' and 'Little Things', actually I love all the songs.

Also Belle and Sebastien are great. Made ME love music more. 'If she wants me', 'White Collar Boy', 'Another Sunny Day' are all good.
And metric is really good too. Combat baby is one of my faves.
