There's Anne Kremer on the SB instead of Alicia in the match vs V.Zvonareva. I think she withdrew

Really? On scorestand.com/tennis, it still has her against Zvonareva.

Hantuchova withdrew too. Meilen Tu vs Lilia Osterloh!

Okay. I think I've thought of a logical possibility. Alicia withdrew because she got her Wimbledon wildcard and wants to be fresh for Wimby, so she'll only play Eastbourne Rosmalen.

:o Why not Eastbourne?

Because Rosmalen would be better for her, plus they gave her a wildcard ;)

You're right, she has more chance of getting on a roll in a lower profile tournament. Do you know what tier it is?

Poor Alicia - was looking forward to that match. She didn't seem very happy watching the Pratt v Peng match. Vera must be pleased though!

Yeah I saw her there as well, I thought she was just nervous before the match but when I walked onto centre and saw Kremer I understood why she was looking down  Get well soon Alicia

oh

I'm optimistic, though. Sometimes a neck can feel horrible one day and fine the next. She'll see a physio, and I'm confident that she'll be fine for her next event.
