I declare that Shenay Perry will have a breakout season this year.

Shenaynay has ALL the makings of a top 20 player. She's agile, powerful groudnstrokes and a nice serve.

Why can't she get any better?

I bet there is a conspiracy against black women.....the draws are so racist

RACIST!

You think there's a racist conspiracy against black women because Shenay Perry isn't getting easier draws?

Shenaynay deserves a dream draw in Wimbledon!

Dream Semi Finals:

Shenay Perry
Na Li
Shuai Peng
Nicole Vaidisova

Shenay Perry will be crowned the winner of 2006!

Hi welcome to the boards.:wavey: I think Shenay hits the sliced back-hand a little to often to be effective enough to get into the top twenty. She has a nice one-handed backhand that I think she gets away from when her confidence isnt up. Pulling for her though!

Congratulations on the dumbest first post EVER. :retard:

On a serious note, I think Jamea is the young American to watch.

Jamea Jackson is the highest ranked American teenager I believe. If there is anyone who is going to be the next sensation its her, not Perry. I think Shenay is a good player but I think Jamea is a bit more talented.

She definatly is hugely talented and has the game for the top 10 but when you have so much variety and all court skills like Shenay it will take a bit longer to develop, i think she will have a very successfull career.

Yeah. But at least we have players from our own country to cheer for.

Honestly, would she be getting any of the attention she is getting if she were white? No!

Pagliacci  Take your haterade elsewhere

On A Serious Note:

American Tennis is going downhill fast. The USTA is too worried about Adult Leagues and shit to realize that there are no potential superstars in America right now.

I wish the Tennis Academy's would worry more about having an American star; get all the Europeans outta there. Tough luck that no one in Europe can teach them the game; they can go to the Sanchez-Casal Academy! American youngsters need Bolliteri and Evert!!! :wavey:

LOL @ your haterade comment (rather clever).
In all honesty we all know it's true. Perry's game is actually very average, nothing in it to suggest a top 5 player.
