This isn't anything new? Europe is going to be stronger than American because (1.) they have more people and (2.) they are more driven. I really don't see the points you're trying to make, when everyone knows that European tennis is stronger than American tennis.

Geographically yes since most part of its (more than 2/3 of its land area) teritorry is in mainland Asia, but technically/politically its part of (Eastern) Europe since its seat of gevernment, Moscow, is in the European part of Russia.

base on the above, Maria Sharapova "Asian" to say the least since Siberia is on the Asian part of Russia!

that may be true, but a hobbled lindsay still decks them around the court, and venus still does the same....
