View Full Version : Should I change my Sony Ericsson W800i phone to the 810i version?

Currently I am using the W800i and I say I really love it. However, I bought that phone about 2 months ago when the W810i emerged in the market. Now, one of my friends have it (W810i) and it seems a little bit better than mine. The difference between W800i and W810i:-

W810i has quad-band (whatever that is), while W800i is tri-band.
W810i is Satin Black, while W800i is bright orange and white
The "infamous" joystick which the W800i has in the middle is replaced by buttons for the W810i, and the side keys are different.
The W800i has a protective lid to protect and cover the lense. The W810i does not. The picture quality is almost the same, except that the W810i is slightly clearer (both are 2 mega pixels).
Other than that, both phones works exactly the same. And yeah, the W810i is slightly pricier than the W800i.

So, should I change to a W810i instead, or remain faithful to the W800i? Anyone? :wavey:

Here are the pics of the phone:-

they are the same.. and so is the k750i because it can be flashed to the w800i

so if you're smart and you had a choice of the three phones k750i, w800i or 810 you would get the 750 and just flash it to the w800i..
