I think Alicia should get one because of her form before she got ill. What do you guys think???

Definitely. Even her form at RG warrants a wildcard into Wimbledon.

yes, she is an established player, (i believe maybe former top 10??) who ran into some hard times with health problems, but is back & playing pretty good. especially to make it that far @ RG on her worst surface. Also, she will do much, much better than any young local girl who will fold under the pressure of playing in a slam. If the LTA is serious about giving the WCs to "serious prospects" then Alicia should be #1 on the list.

Didn't the organisers say they where gonna give the wildcards to players who could win a round. Alicia could definitely win a round or two. If they don't give her a main draw wildcard she should get a qualifying one. I would prefer a qualifying one so she can get more match practise against winable opponents.

nah she is playing a tournament the week of the qualifying

3rd French, consitant performer at Wimbledon, I think she will get one she has been top 10 and was injured and her IPR is 23 which doesnt matter here, shows her consistancy, she will be in the draw for me

Well.... the LTA said they'd only give wildcards to Brits who could win a round or two.... so there should be plenty of wildcards available for Alicia

She certainly deserves it 10 times more than a certain male Australian tennis player who will go unmentioned.

I think she should get a WC because she is back on the tour and is playing better from match to match.

Like all players it should be determined by a case by case basis - although she hasn't really performed well there consistently, before she had that long layoff she was a top player hence I believe it would be only fair if she received one

And she has a really nice game to watch
