...there are no girls born in 1992 ranked in the Juniors Top 100 and only one in Top 150 (ranked at #144)? From my experience following juniors tennis, usually there are at least 5 14 y.o. in the top 100 at any given time.

Is nature taking a break?

not surprised really some of the girls are staying in juiors longer so they are dominating

juniors can only play U18's from age of 13 nowadays
for 2006, you had to be born before 1993.

so some of them are probably playing for a year in under 18?

probably-
also there's a limit on how much a junior player can even play ITF juniors now
all thanx to Julia Cohen

the best 1992 girls i've seen are the Pliskova twins
and there's a girl from GB, Ren (there's two of them)

Thanks! Any Russian girls expected to take over from Nastya?

What's also intersting is that the second youngest in the top 100 is ranked #1 :D

Oh and a couple more questions if you can help. Is Jessica (the younger of the Ren sisters, born 1994) the better of the two and on a different note, have you ever seen Tara Moore play and if so how good do you think she can be? Thanks!

It's not surprising at all, at the end of the year there will be more girls born in 1992 inside Top 100 and maybe 1 born in 1993 ;) (M. Larcher de Brito)
