What should realistic fans expect from her there?

She made QF before, but does she have the game to get to the final or go all the way?

yes she does.she has huge groundstrokes, and not that big of a takeback, her serve is effective when it's on.so she could easily do alot of damage at wimbledon.

She won Eastboune in 2004.
Last year, her serve fell apart against Lindsay.
If she can serve well, she's a threat.

Svetlana's game is tailor made for grass and she proved that in her victory at Eastbournein 2004. She then lost inexplicably to Virginie Razzano in the first round of Wimbledon. She also beat Sharapova at Wimbledon on her way to the quarters in 2003.

I don't think it's appropriate however to assess her chances based on her performances there in previous years. Last year her game was in crisis and since then she has given her mental approach a total overhall. Svetlana will take some beating at Wimbledon and she has to be one of the favourites for the title.

i think she could win it in her career. when she was getting big in 2002-2003, i thought wimbledon would be her first slam win, but she proved me wrong at USO ;)

I guess you do not know much about tennis then!! I suggest you to listen more commentators. I have not heard commentators who have not agreed that she's good all around player on all surfaces.

She has the all round game for any surface. She has the record to prove it now.

2x Quarterfinalist at Wimbledon
Title at Eastbourne 2004

Yes she has but I doubt she will win it all. There are other players that I think will do better there. Although I would like her to win if not Amelie

I don't think she does. With her extreme forehand grip, it will be hard for her to get underneath the ball and she will hit it the ball out a lot. She could make maybe QF or SF.
