Oh no,this is so sad! I saw Maria beat Shahar Peer in the third round of the US Open last year and she still has some good tennis left in her.She has also done well at Wimbledon over the years. I saw her hitting at Roland Garros and she looked a little out of shape. She is a good player and let's hope better things are to come.
