Q. What do you think about future game between Kuznetsova and Belgian, I don't know which exactly, but what do you think about all this girls?

NICOLE VAIDISOVA: You know, I'm done with the tournament so I kind of don't really worry about it anymore. You know, I'm just gonna go home and do my thing. I don't think I'm gonna watch the final at all anyway, so...

Looks like even Vaidisova wanted a Hingis v Williams final!

I blew off the '52 Oscars and went to Rome when I knew I was going to lose.

Okay I resume... women's final = boring, men's SF = boring. What's wrong here in this forum? :scatch:

That's not too surprising. After a SF loss I doubt that many other player would be interested on final either.

Hon, I'm not posting under my real name, I don't want like an article that a Hollywood legend is posting on a tennis board and then have to explain my posts to the press. Helen Lawson is the name of a character I once played in a film. So, help me keep my secret, hon!:wavey:

Nobody cares about tennis. They just don't know why they are coming here.

I didn't really die, it was all just a rumor that didn't fully go away. Honestly, it did hurt my career though, everyone thinking I was dead, I didn't get any parts offered to me. I did an article in the late 70s, "Hey, I'm Not Dead." But people still think I went to the big movie studio in the sky.

It hurts their big ego that it's not them playing in the final.

Martina does, she always watches tennis on TV...I bet she was screaming at Kim today, "COME ON!"

Anyway, very mature word from Nicole. She is growing up so fast! She could go all th way atWimbledon or the US Open but as usual it's going to depend a lot on the draw>P

Q. Is it surprise for you to play in semifinal, and what do you think about Svetlana Kuznetsova?

NICOLE VAIDISOVA: Semifinal, great, you know. Of course great. I've never been as far in a Grand Slam, even close as far. I'm very happy, of course, with my performance. A little bit disappointed of course right now. I would definitely love to win and play the finals. But, you know, happens. Just have to keep working even a little harder and, you know, hopefully next time I'll do even better.

Svetlana, definitely on the court she's great fighter, very good player. She definitely has very good chances in the final. Of course, she's a very nice person, very nice girl, very funny. And, you know, I have not a bad word to say about her.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess she's matured.

Hey! I remember reading that article in Look magazine. It got buried between a huge artilce with pictures about the Bee Gees and a story about why Ronald Reagan would never become President. (Seriously) The part that stands out in my memory was you talking about getting loaded with Elvis Presley at Graceland and how he kept offering you pills.
