May 25th, 2002, 01:31 PM

May 25th, 2002, 01:32 PM

May 25th, 2002, 01:33 PM
May 25th, 2002, 01:37 PM
Wow, her socks match her shoes and the tip of her racket!
May 25th, 2002, 01:37 PM
I was just going to make a 'Worst outfit of the day' thread when i saw this one.
Thank goodness it is just a practice outfit. I hope. LOL
May 25th, 2002, 02:09 PM
 OMG, No she didn't!
May 25th, 2002, 02:09 PM
I actually like it, call me crazy :)
green and yellow pumas.... that might be the color of her new dress :)
May 25th, 2002, 02:13 PM
May 25th, 2002, 02:14 PM
And so am I. She's saying I can wear whatever I want to wear, irrespective of the superficiality of some of my most devoted fans. Who care's the quirkiness of the socks and shoes. I like people and players that do their own thing and stop trying to meet others standards. It is all subjective. I'm sure many of you are walking fashion faux paux too.
Many are the same people who made fun of Roddick for wearing the visor. Give it a break people. Live and let live. Variety is what God had in mond and what makes life interesting and fun!
:bounce: Go Serena :bounce: I love the socks:bounce:
May 25th, 2002, 02:15 PM
I LOVE IT
Next thing you know all other players are going to copy her :fiery:
She looks hot :lick:
Shows she is not afraid to wear anything, because she knows she looks sexy in anything.
May 25th, 2002, 02:40 PM
That is an insult to the fashion community
May 25th, 2002, 02:55 PM
Hey Rolling-Thunder... chill, this is just for fun... :)
May 25th, 2002, 03:05 PM
You should see what I wear when I go to the gym or practicing. I pick up anything that is clean on that day and near the top, be it blue, white, green, red; nothing needs to macth, just clean. :)
May 25th, 2002, 03:32 PM
Somebody has broken into my locker you said???
My brand new shoes and socks are missing???"
May 25th, 2002, 03:35 PM
LOL@grandslammed! I actually like it, then again, I am rooting for Brazil in the World Cup.;)
May 25th, 2002, 03:35 PM
She better wear this for this tourny.
May 25th, 2002, 03:36 PM
if it brings her luck, then it is okee with me;)
May 25th, 2002, 03:40 PM
LOL @ Grandslammed.
May 25th, 2002, 03:47 PM
lol, and she is studying fashion?
May 25th, 2002, 03:57 PM
She looks awesome!
Go Serena! :bounce:
Away with the sterotypes! ;)
May 25th, 2002, 04:07 PM
I like it :)
May 25th, 2002, 04:21 PM
This outfit looks like the Cameroom's jersay soccer team
This truly is an excellent outfit!!!!!!!
She is bold and ten years ahead of her time.
ALready she has reintroduced color (pink, purple, red) back into tennis.
I would be thrilled if she wore them through the whole tournament.
May 25th, 2002, 06:02 PM
I think its interesting looking.
THough her legs, and the rest of her seem to be confused with what sport she is playing - at least its different.
Whatever floats her board.
lol GrandSlammed - thats what I thought when i saw this...I thought 'Guga?"
May 25th, 2002, 07:14 PM
It's a little odd to me that NO ONE seems to comment on Serena's hair... Did anyone notice the beady beads in her hair in the Rome tourney?!?!?!? She has WAYYYY to much blonde in her hair and the braids should have been taken out A LONG TIME AGO... on top of the fact that the outfit she's worn all season long is absolutely DISGUSTING!!!! I can't believe she calls herself a fashion queen!!! PUHLEEEZE!!!
May 25th, 2002, 07:16 PM
"ILUVYELENA it's Ronaldo and not Ronald "
I maybe be incorrect, but I thought ILUVJELENA (its spelled with a J not a Y), was referring to Ronald McDonald.
In which case, her spelling was correct.
May 25th, 2002, 07:22 PM
   @that pic
May 25th, 2002, 07:44 PM
i don't think so
i thought, Iluvejelena was talking about the brazilian's striker RONALDO.
sorry about the "Y" but it's pronounced that way.
May 25th, 2002, 07:48 PM
Playa - I dont really care about the spelling :)
maybe she did mean Ronaldo.
But I think I see a little bit of Ronald McDonal in there as well :D
May 25th, 2002, 08:12 PM
Vamos Brazil and Serena ;)
May 25th, 2002, 08:24 PM
Who is Roland? Roland Mc DOnalds
You mean RONALDO;)
May 26th, 2002, 04:50 AM
I thought she meant Ronald MacDonald - the Clown.
and with good reason too! lol
And JenCpLvr, of course it is your perogative to decide whether or not you like Serenas hair and outfit, but the fact is a LOT of people think the outfit she has been wearing all season is nice. She is a fashion Queen, and the fact that you don't like her outfit doesn't make her a fashion misfit.
I however, do agree that those braids are begging to be taken out, but if she spent all that time taking the braids out (and trust me it takes a long time) she may not have had enough time to practice so as to teach your fave (Jen) a thing or two on the court en route to sending her packing!
May 26th, 2002, 05:22 AM
she looked very very cool ;) ;)
May 26th, 2002, 05:47 AM
Very good point bootylicious...
Serena sent Druggie packing a lot rhis year.
May 26th, 2002, 05:50 AM
Superhero - Serena associates with a druggie? How unlike her
May 26th, 2002, 09:48 AM
Never mind the colour of those socks... the length is just horrible.
May 26th, 2002, 10:51 AM
See, now, that's why I like Serena. She's so spontaneous. You never know what she's going to do, or in this case, wear next. I love her unpredictability.
May 26th, 2002, 10:54 AM
actually quite interesting.
I don't know how many of you are familiar with
the Cameroon national football team?;but it looks
kind of like their cool jersey. The Cameroon jersey
debuted at this year's "African Nations Cup" football
competition feature a radical "no sleeves" jersey with
the country's green, yellow and red colours. The top was green
and the shorts were red. The trim was yellow.
You'll know what I mean later on since the Cameroon
team are one of the teams that should do really well
at the World Cup 2002. These guys are really talented
and will no doubt in my mind get to at least the QF's.
May 26th, 2002, 11:51 AM
Those shoes were made for kicking!
May 26th, 2002, 12:28 PM
So true,it took me one day and 6 hours to take out my braids. If i had someone to help me it would of taking 8 hours, but maybe some of my natural hair would of been cut off. When you wear braids ,your hair has new groow? ,so now you don"t know how long it is now.So it better to take it out one by one .This way you will not lose any ,in the way of cutting some off,by mistake.
May 26th, 2002, 12:32 PM
Hey Ruby, what the hell are you talking about?
May 26th, 2002, 12:49 PM
I was talking about how long it take me to take out my braids.
May 26th, 2002, 12:51 PM
LMAO! Uhm, are you sure that you've replied in the correct thread. This one is about Serena's colorful and outrageous practice wear. Maybe I missed something. Let me go back and read the other posts.
May 26th, 2002, 12:55 PM
Hehe. Indeed, I missed something. Bootylicious posted about Serena's braids. I thought YOU were confused, instead, it's me who's confused. Anyway, Serena's probably getting her hair braided today. Just in time for her first round match.
May 26th, 2002, 02:07 PM
That ok,We both love the williams sister, right.
May 26th, 2002, 02:10 PM
look closely and you will see...
a touch of gold/yellow on the racket...
gold/yellow piping around the sleeve and down the sides of her top...
a touch of gold/yello on her shoes...
i'd say my girl is co-ordinated!! she looks like crap but she's co-ordinated!! ;) :)
May 26th, 2002, 04:02 PM
I really hope she redoes those braids. I would not be a good idea to lift the trophy and take all those grandslam champ pics with those raggedy looking braids.
