PARIS, May 26 (Reuters) - France's Mary Pierce has pulled out of the French Open, which starts on Sunday, because of injury worries, organisers said on Friday. Pierce, 31, won the tournament in 2000 and was a losing finalist in 1994 and 2005. She has been battling foot and groin problems.

yes yes yes it's not that bad as it looks like yes yes yes !!!! i'm so happy

She doesn't suffer of the lesion adductor anymore but she still has an inflamation to the adductor so she prefered not playing instead of playing not at 100%, she thought about the rest of the season...

May 26th, 2006, 02:46 PM
it's really a pity Mary won't play

May 26th, 2006, 04:34 PM
Mary always gets injury problems after she hits some great form or had a great year. Poor Mary, I hope she comes back strong soon

May 26th, 2006, 04:38 PM
Goodbye Top10 Mary AGAIN. Nice seeing you here!

May 26th, 2006, 04:40 PM
That is really too bad. I like Mary and was so impressed with her phenomenal year last year. I hope she doesn't get frustrated and retire. I love her game--hair adjusting and all!

May 26th, 2006, 04:42 PM
I'm totally lost for words.. I was so excited about Mary playing RG!
Please, just come back. MARY.

Come back soon Mary. I like to see her smile on the court. She truely had FUN last year.

May 26th, 2006, 06:28 PM

May 26th, 2006, 06:34 PM
How many times in her career does she have to make a comeback? She's the ultimate comeback queen.

May 26th, 2006, 06:35 PM

May 26th, 2006, 06:35 PM
RG wont be the same without you....

Looking forward to seeing you fully fit and fully well on Wimbledon Centre Court whacking those balls!!!

Mary :crying2: :crying2: :crying2:

I was really hoping she'd be ready for her home slam. Please be ready for Wimbly.

May 26th, 2006, 06:42 PM
Will Oprandi take her place in MD?

May 26th, 2006, 06:55 PM
good decision if she's not 100% fit. can't say the same abt my favourite player. :o

May 26th, 2006, 07:01 PM
One of Mary's fan talked to Xavier Moreau today and he told us (mary's fans) to not desesperate because Mary is happy and she's going to come back, she will rest for 3 days then start her preparation for 3 weeks and then she will decide when she will return to competition.

May 26th, 2006, 07:09 PM
Mary will most probably be in the top ten after this tournament, unless Hingis wins..

May 26th, 2006, 07:11 PM
Is Mary going to play at all this season?:sad:I hope so, get well soon Mary!

May 26th, 2006, 08:17 PM

May 26th, 2006, 10:33 PM
Mary

I miss seeing her play!

May 27th, 2006, 02:10 AM
 Still so sad, they can say what they want, expecting a future great return for Wimbly ..."enough is enough" and i am so deseperated , why Mary .... why always her?????

Where is this God that she adores, why a so bad luck....

In another hand i am very very admiratif and proud to see how Mary is strong and confident for 2morrow....
These girl is really EXCEPTIONAL

Nota : When i see again the chance of Mauresmo, her draw, it is unfair and unbelievable. These girl should play Loto really......

May 28th, 2006, 03:18 PM
Mary

Mary always seems to bring some drama to Roland Garros. Even when she lost to Justine last year, her speech upstaged the whole ceremony

Get better soon Ma'am and hopefully she'll be at Wimbledon.

May 28th, 2006, 03:44 PM
Mary will be ready for the upcoming half of the season. That's what I'm excited about.. So, stop crying and start getting :bounce:
