Thought it was grass but she is 14/1 to win Wimbledon with the bookies. Am i wrong or are the bookies wrong?

rebound ace is perfect for hingis game. her quick picks ups and spins are all more effective on this surface.

I would say gras is her weakest surface, its definately been her least sucessful. she hasnt won a match on the stuff in 6 years.

Clay. Clay neutralizes the game so she can use her variety. Owning a well placed dropper and lob are fitting for the clay surface. RG is a tough title to win but Hingis's game is built to own the red clay surface slam title. What also makes the clay her best surface is that she can exploit her opponents weaknesses. She can use her variety. Don't forget her return game. I also think Martina has beaten better opponents on clay vrs rebound ace. I mean she had Graf beat. I guess I would like her chances better on clay vrs Venus and Serena than rebound ace.

If Venus never won any Wimbeldon's but won 4 slams on rebound ace I would still state that grass was Venus's better surface.

This is all my opinion.

Rebound Ace and Carpet and maybe hardcourts, also a bit grass but she's not a big fan of clay...

Fast hardcourts, like in Australia and Toyko :)

She also has a Rebound Ace court at her home in Switzerland, so that should answer your question ;)

Yes, Rebound Ace is her favourite (just look at her record in Australia) but Martina is happy on any surface.

she loves rebound ace...she's even got one in Trubbach
well clay is her second best and then carpet.

I wouldn't call rebound ace a slow court though

An all-court player is a term used for people who can play at all areas of the tennis court, not the players who can play on different surfaces.

hingis said her favorite surface is clay a long time ago.

I dont know what she personally favours, but i think she's always played well on fast indoor hard as it gives her extra zip on the ball. Shes brilliant on surfaces like filderstadt and zurich!

Yes , that's correct. Then, Isn't Martina an all court and all surface player generally speaking?
She doesn't have one outstanding weapon but uses all court including the net and dropshots . Being all surface means that she doesn't have one glaring weakness on a particular surface. Correct me if I am wrong
