RG Qualies: Su-Wei Hsieh (7) d. Jamie Hampton 6-4 6-3!

YAY! Su-Wei is through to the round two of the RG qualifying! She's up to 117 in the rankings now, after reaching her highest rank of 114, just last week! :D

I really want Su-Wei to reach her 2nd MD at a GS (she lost 1st round at USO last year) Anyone know what her coaching situation is these days?

After all the problems (and all the early hype....remember she got the SFs of her first ever tournie, losing to Widjaja!) it looks like Su-Wei is finally playing to her potential, and she's still only 19! I wish her all the best, and good luck for next match, against either Henke or Kudryatseva.
