The Safin family genes are STRONG! She looks JUST like her brother. Even Venus and Serean don't resemble each other that closely.

Hey All,

I've always known that Martina still has game. Back when - when Lindsay beat her like eight straight times - and then she beats Lindsay, always told me that for any talented player - it all has to come together for said player to win a specific match and/or tourney.

Venus should have closed it out in two - but that's the way the tennis ball bounces. Venus got broken in the second one too many times - and the rest is her(story).

So happy and proud of my two Top 10 girls, Matrina and Meghann. :worship:
They both surprised me by winning the tournaments on the same day. I'm in 7 heaven. :angel:
I'm hoping they will soon repeat it all.

Yeah.....you're right....she received two trophies for this reason

With all due respect to Safaina --who deserves a tremendous amount of respect for the week she just had --knocking off three top ten players --it is hard to look at Hingis standing next to Dinara and not just marvel at Martina's ability to even stay on the court with girls so much bigger and stronger than she is. Much less beat them?

Kat Adams, the commentator on The Tennis Channel, keeps refering to Martina as the Magician and she surely is.
