what happened to Sandra Mamic?

around the end of 2004, Mamic was one of the more promising young players on the tour. 2005 was a disaster for her results-wise, and now she is nowhere to be found. Is it an injury or something else?

bad news. It wasn't a tennis related injury though? There was no news about her getting hurt during a match.

I think she got injured while playing French Open 1st or 2nd round last year where she made a huge split - much wider than Kimmy Clijsters. She was crying during the match with painful groin or thigh.

nope ... she got an arm infection, then got wrist surgery, and now is really sick
