Has any player won a single Grand Slam title, but no other tournaments in their career??

Question two: Who has won a slam with the fewest other tourney wins??

Sharapova has won only 10 tournaments I think, with ( i think) only 4 above tier III level. she will win more though.

Kuznetsova has only won a couple of tournaments too.

Interestingly, after Jennifer came back to the top of the game, she only won 5 titles during her peak years of 2001-2004. However, they were 3 grandslams, a tier I and a tier II(a high quality one, beating Lindsay and Mauresmo)

I would take that over a grandslam and a bunch of tier 3's

I think Chris O'Neill was unseeded when she won her only tournament at Australian Open 78

Maria's actually won 11 titles (but I'm just nit-picking) :p

Barbara Jordan was ranked #68 WTA (seeded 5) when she won the 1979 Australian Open to become the only American winner of that tournament in the 70's...she defeated top seed Hana Mandlikova in the quarterfinals.

Barbara only managed to win another title (Detroit '78) during her career
