May 7th, 2006, 03:03 PM
Second meeting this year of those two. In Gold Coast SF Flavia wonin three sets 1-6 7-6(2) 6-2.But now Martina is more experienced, more matches played...
Who will win?
I'll go for Martina, coz I always believe she can win :)

May 7th, 2006, 03:14 PM
Hingis of course.

May 7th, 2006, 03:15 PM
i feel Martina, simply because she Martina Hingis & made a lot of thing since that last meeting with Flavia.

May 7th, 2006, 03:22 PM
Martina will be hungry for revenge:yeah: And I'm sure she'll be motivated to play better than last week, and she'll definitely have to:D! GO Marti:banana:!!!

May 7th, 2006, 03:25 PM
I vote for Hingis

May 7th, 2006, 03:28 PM
Pennetta can lost to Zheng Jie 2-6 3-6

May 7th, 2006, 03:41 PM
Flavia has been injured and slumping. Martina has kind of been in a mini-slump lately, but she should be able to win this match in straight sets.

Hingis will exact revenge.

May 7th, 2006, 05:41 PM
Hingis in straight, even if i'm a big fan of Flavia...

May 7th, 2006, 06:19 PM
Flavia hasnt really shown any good form this year and has been playing too many smaller tournaments wont be match tough enough for hingis unfortunatley

May 7th, 2006, 06:20 PM
Hingis ~ 6-2, 6-3

May 7th, 2006, 06:21 PM
I hope Martina Hingis, she needs a break :)

May 7th, 2006, 06:24 PM
Hingis with more consistency.

May 7th, 2006, 06:28 PM

cause Pennetta looks like she not at her best on clay this days

May 7th, 2006, 06:34 PM
Flavia is playing pretty bad on clay this year. So I think Martina has to win it.

This will be a real test of Martina's French Open credentials.....a loss to Pennetta after the Williams defeat would suggest that she won't have much chance of beating the top clay court players at Roland Garros.

May 7th, 2006, 07:59 PM
Hingis ~ 6_3 6_2

Martina Hingis

May 7th, 2006, 08:34 PM
Sad to say it, but I don't think Flavia will win against Martina. Martina will probably take her revenge.

Not sure what has happened to Flavia this season........

May 7th, 2006, 08:48 PM
Flavia is playing pretty bad on clay this year. So I think Martina has to win it.
I think Penetta has 2 finals on clay this year..

May 7th, 2006, 08:52 PM
hingis in three

May 7th, 2006, 08:54 PM
I'd like Flavia to win but I figure Hingis will take care of business

Martina maybe

May 7th, 2006, 09:06 PM
I think Hingis

May 7th, 2006, 09:14 PM
I think Penetta has 2 finals on clay this year..

Bogota & Acapulco, lost both of them and got injured afterwards. Then didn't won a match until Fed Cup over Dechy & this week on Estoril struggled.

May 7th, 2006, 09:24 PM
Martina most likely will. But if she wants to give herself a better chance of doing well at the French, she should win this.

May 7th, 2006, 09:35 PM
:) I think Martina will come through this match but I am surprised at how amany people are totally counting Flavia out...She's Italian, she grew up on clay, and she has beaten Hingis this year. Martina should have won that match but still this might give Flavia a bit more belief than if she had lost that match and she could cause Martina some problems if Marti isn't aggressive enough which she hasn't been in her last few tournaments...I hope it is a fairly straight forward win for Hingis but I think she might need 3 sets to pull it out. Go Martina>P

May 7th, 2006, 09:43 PM
Pennetta in 3 sets

May 7th, 2006, 10:09 PM
Pennetta in 3 sets
Yeah,i think the same too, i think Flavia has a chance, she has had better results on the surface lately, but who knows Hingis is also capable of upsetting yet another higher ranked player. So should be a close match anyway.

Last time I voted in a poll like that I was sure of my pick, but I was totally wrong :o So this time I'd answer Martina, but I'm not sure at all!

May 8th, 2006, 12:57 AM
It's time for Pinnetta to step it up. Hingis goes down.

May 8th, 2006, 01:30 AM
Martina in 2

Bad luck Flavia

Pennetta despite if she's struggling and she will win ;)

May 8th, 2006, 05:15 AM
I would be surprised if Martina lost this match. She has improved greatly since her loss to Pennetta in Gold Coast, and save that match, she has only lost to the best of the best this year. She will also be eager to erase the Venus match from memory.

May 8th, 2006, 05:19 AM
Martina  :hearts:

May 8th, 2006, 08:03 AM
martina 6-1 6-2

May 8th, 2006, 08:09 AM
i rekon maybe flavia 3-6 6-3 7-6

May 8th, 2006, 02:49 PM
Hingis in three :yeah:

May 8th, 2006, 04:54 PM
Martina Hingis - she has all the skills to beat her. Seriously M. H. looks very coinfident and healthy at the same time!! 6-3 6-2
So I'll go for her..
