Hey :)

Are there any restrictions or guidelines for fans concerning the cameras they are allowed to use? For instance, are some cameras with a zoom banned or something, because they look too professional?

Thank you :)

In general they seem to be more relaxed about "professional style" cameras than Wimbledon. Mine is only a small digital camera, but I've seen spectators (i.e no media badge in sight!) with much more sophisticated equipment, and quite powerful zoom lenses. I guess if you were sticking it on a tripod, and generally getting in the way, they would be more likely to give you hassle.

Certainly in the bag search at the start (which is far quicker than Wimbledon) the only thing they seem really worried about is glass bottles.

Thank you :wavey:

I am glad to hear that there won't be any problems, especially seeing as some more compact cameras nowadays can be even more advanced.
