So glad Hendry lost can't stand him. That last frame was actually exciting.

Paul Hunter looked so ill but better than the last time i saw him.

I thought Bond had blown it when he went in-off the final black. Some of the "safety" from Hendry in the final frame was abysmal, I could have played them better. Great match though...

I'm going to the quarters (Davis/Murphy vs. Ebdon/?) on Tuesday 2:30 and the bottom half semi (hopefully Ronnie) next friday 2:30. Lucky to have got front row seats :) We should be on TV, you can't miss my wife, she has a bright pink fringe...

Poor quality torunament so far.

Shaun Murphy looks the best player at the moment, although i'm not sure I want him to retain the title.

Apr 24th, 2006, 06:37 PM
Goooooooooooo Ken Doherty! :) He is my choice to win the title! ;)

(I was very sorry for Matthew though. I really want Matthew to win one year. All the best to Matthew in 2007... )

I didn't see Paul Hunter - I send my very best wishes to him right now. I'm just so sorry to hear this.

I hope all those who visited/are visiting the Crucible had/will have a great time. :)

Edward.

Such a shame that Ebdon missed out on the chance for a 147 break today, I was sat on the front row at the Crucible, it would have been great to see. Awesome performance against Murphy to lead 7-1.

I hope Ronnie does the job tomorrow, I have tickets for his semi :)

I totally agree with you that he has made immense efforts by fighting so hard with his health condition and still playing. With this type of persistence I’m sure he will continue his great achievements.

Ronnie is both very talented (I will be happier if he doesn’t lose his concentration at crucial times) and adds entertainment to the game. I enjoy his facial expressions and funny trips during the matches; he acts like a naughty kid!

When he is at the peak of his game, it is a privilege to just sit back and enjoy the show!!!! :worship:

I'd like to think Ronnie would win, but he'll probably meet Ebdon, who will go back to his gameplan of taking 5 minutes on every shot to screw up Ronnies rhythm.

Which would make for a tedious final.

I posted it somewhere but I think the forum went down (or my wifi connection :o) so it wasn't posted:p French ES commentators are hilarious, they call him Rocket Ronnie but using the french translation, which obviously doesn't sound as cool as the english/original one  they call him "la fusée" it takes all the myth down I think

and I much prefered watching snooker in the UK from the BBC commentators

Frame 13: If there are any Sheffield traffic wardens reading this, I'd volunteer for the late shift if I were you. There's a fortune to be made on the lapsed pay and display tickets of the Crucible crowd's cars tonight... It's 2335 BST and there are three frames to play.
