Anna lost again due to injury. Does anybody know what she is going through, and if will she be able to continue her career?

According to the WTA Tour it's a wrist injury. Right wrist if I'm not mistaken.

Anna Chakvetadze d. (31) Shahar Peer 6-1 6-2

GOtta suck for Shahar to lose that badly, but Anna just barely missed a seeding, and is on her way back to form, so she can't be too sad. Chin up Shahar, work on winning matches consistently, now. That's the next step. ;)

Without a major jump in Shahar's serving game, I'm afraid she has hit a ceiling in her rankings and does not have the top 20 in her sights.

Sure her serve needs to improve but its not the problem.
This reminds me of the match against Safina. After that match Shahar said she had some sort of a crisis and didn't want to play. I hope it's not the same here.

Anyway, She'll regroup, and maybe even stronger who knows :)
