Brenda still got her games! I think she should play lower events instead. For example, Birmingham and 's-Hertogenbosch.

Yay! I like Aiko: I saw her playing on the Gold Coast and was impressed with her aggressive play. It seems to have been a good quality match for both of them.

If she can lose to Nakamura with a scoreline like this I don't see why she even bothers...

She hasn't played on tour for 7 years. She'll improve... :bounce:

If you think her serve was better than Venus and Serena.. you are not right. Plus it was not like she served aces and won her serves games all the time.

Brenda actually served 11 aces against Aiko, including 2 on her 2nd serve!! Too bad she didn't win, but i wish her luck in her next tournaments... ;)

Doesn't she still hold the record for most aces in a match?
22 against Majoli in 1994. Brenda recorded a 120 mph serve in 1990 already!

I don't know why you guys underestimate Aiko. She's been the most consistent of all the Japanese, with a 6-6 record, including the 3rd round of the Aussie where she bashed Gisela. That's a lot more than Asagoe, and even Ai can say so far this year. If anything, a win by Brenda would be an upset. Nakamura is very quick because she has to be, and seems to be a tenacious fighter. Brenda did manage 9 aces though. Go Aiko!

Fancy serving 2 aces on your 2nd serve!
