1 - Frederica Piedade #152
2 - Neuza Silva #485
3 - Magali de Lattre #499
4 - Ana Catarina Nogueira #844
5 - Joana Pangaio #982

Frederica Piedade is Portugal's highest ranked WTA player ever, having reached a career high of #149 this year. Her latest result seems to be a first round loss at a 25k (!) at Gran Canaria (in her defense, it was a tight three setter). She's the second seed at another 25k to take place there this week.

This is sooo transparently a Serena bashing thread. Sure she's #58, but based on only 8 events in the last 52 weeks. (Amy, Laura, and Jill have 20, 23, and 30 respectively). Does anyone doubt that Serena could practice for a few days and beat any of them in straight sets?

Look at every little country.
Outside the top 2 of each country theirs nothing more.
It's a typical thing for a belgian to take down their results like you do.
Nothing to be ashamed off that the third player is outside the top 100

I think belgium got the best top 5 of the little countries ;)
