Head-to-heads (Martina vs Russians in top 30)

Martina - Maria Sharapova : 1-1
Martina - Elena Dementieva : 2-3
Martina - Nadia Petrova : 1-1
Martina - Anastasia Myskina : 2-1
Martina - Svetlana Kuznetsova : 0-0
Martina - Elena Likhovtseva : 8-0
Martina - Dinara Safina : 0-0
Martina - Maria Kirilenko : 1-0

So, she has beaten them all, except Kuzzie and Safina, who she hasn't played. But she doesn't have an impressive head-to-head record against any of them, except Likhovtseva!

She beat Kuznetsova in Doha. Most Russians were up and coming when she quit so it's quite normal that she has not played them much. You can do the math..

2-3 vs. Dementieva.

Exactly. In most recent matches she was a punching bag for Dementieva..

She still needs to beat Lena in her comeback cause the times they played before dont really matter as thy were when Hingis was no 1 and lena was a relative newcomer
