Yeah, and she still lost that match. Didn't Schultz-McCartthy once ace Martina Hingis stacks at the AO one year? Also, it would probably be a match with Davenport, and the Williams'. I think in 2001 Miami final, Venus and Jennifer aced each other about 20 times each. Stacks of aces in that match.

As far as I know Brenda Schultz McCarthy still holds the record. She served 22 aces when beating Iva Majoli 6-4 5-7 6-0 in the Edgbaston quarter finals a few years ago.

Venus suffered from a bad injury in that match,
no wonder she lost that match:(

Venus also served about 15 aces against Lisa Raymond in the AO 04 and she lost. And that was only two sets.

I know in one tournament I played about four years ago (I was 14), I had 31 aces against my opponent. Does that count? :p

Yes, she did have an injury. But Monica also had a fever, and was feeling dizzy, so no excuse for Venus.

Yep, I remember that match. 14 to be exact, and Raymond had zilch.

Serena had 15 aces against Monica Seles at the US Open in 1999. She won like 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 or something like that.

This isnt singles but, in 2005 in the ASB Classic doubles Q/F Leanne Baker and Fran L beat Laura Granville and Tryn Ashley on the fast indoor courts 76 57 76. Leanne Baker served at least 23 aces. I lost count at 23 aces, but it must have been 27-28 or somthing. When she landed a first serve, she was unplayable. Leanne:hug:

Capriati Beat Mary Pierce 60 60...she had something like 15 aces in that match....which is rare for a Capriati match!

You mean double faults;)! Jennifer had 16 and Venus 14:eek:

I also think Serena has the record of aces from a woman in a full Grand Slam, 68 aces in the US Open 1999 if I remember well...

Lindsay served a shitload of aces in Filderstadt and Zurich, don't know the exact stats though. My guess would be a Serena match when she's on.
