Lets keep players like Capriati and Seles out and restrict it to players who never really fulfilled their true potential and have age on their side...

Kournikova ... it was always so frustrating watching her because you just knew deep down that she was capable of doing any shot from the text book ... COME BACK!

I thought Myriam Casanova was a terrific player back in 2002, even going into 2003. So, I would definitely like to see her back. Kournikova lost confidence, but if she can regain it, I think she could still be a Top 50 player. Rubin got better late in her career and it is too bad that injuries are in her way.

A successful Kournikova comeback would definately be the best thing to happen to tennis in a while - She made tennis such a talking point and made it really marketable. You can slag her off all you want but she made a difference and rocked the tennis world for a few years. I'd love to see her come back.

Alicia!!! She played unbelievable at the AO 2005 (and the fall season 04)! The match vs Venus was amazing! Plus, she is one of the nicest girls ot there, funny and clever!
Hope she will come back soon, and win the Aussi Open!

Anna K obviously for the good of the Tour. I'd really love to see Mirjana Lucic back though, she was hugely talented yet circumstances held her back and she never regained the motivation to return.

Chanda. She is the most versatile of this group and should've had a better career, which was sadly beset by injuries.

Dokic and Kournikova.

Dokic now seems on the fast track for early retirement, but everyone agrees she has the talent to become a top player again.

Considering how she looks in the latest pics, Kournikova returning to singles competition is now pretty much out of the question, but a return even for doubles only would make the tennis world explode. Tennis fans tend to forget that after all this time, Kournikova is still the only tennis player the masses have heard about. She's a global celebrity, one of the very first of the Age of Celebrity, something Masha still has a long way to go before achieving.
