Thank you for the information! Are you the creator of the Petrova fanpage?

Yes I am :)

So I can use this thread also to ask the other fans of Nadia if there are suggestions for the Petrova fanpage or if someone would like to get a part of the page? All fans are welcome to make the page better!

The official site is nadia-petrova.org (http://www.nadia-petrova.org/). I enjoy posting there. Nadia likes to cook. We have to exchange recipes some time next year.

After Petrova's loss to Molik last week, I sent an e-mail to her management team regarding the lack of site updates. I got a response today.

Here is the original e-mail:
>Can the website please be updated a little more frequently? I'm very
> disappointed that there is absolutely no mention about Nadia teaming up
> with Dmitry Tursonov for the Hopman Cup. All we've gotten in a while are
> very small messages from Nadia. The schedule section also needs alot of
> work/updating. Nadia is not playing in Auckland because she is playing in
> Perth this week. If the rest of the schedule is correct, then I am
> worried that Nadia might get injured again by the time the slams come
> around.
>
> The photo competition was to be held every month since April, and so far
> we've only had two. Updating the site with new photos of Nadia would be a
> great addition. How about posting the photos of the Bolshoi photoshoot?
>
> All of Nadia's fans over at www.wtaworld.com (http://www.wtaworld.com) and
> www.princesspetrova.blogspot.com (http://www.princesspetrova.blogspot.com/) would like to get updated more often on
> the tournaments that Nadia will be playing.
>
> Another idea would be to add a message board to this site. It would be
> fantastic if Nadia posted weekly messages. Nadia did a fantastic blog
> during the Kremlin Cup, maybe she should do one for this site.
>
> I hope my message is taken into serious consideration. Nadia just had her
> best season ever, and we need to create a bigger awareness about her.
>
> Thank you for your time.
>
> Sincerely,
> Juan XXXXXX XXXXXX

Here is the response:
Hi Juan XXXXXX,

First we wish you a Happy New Year.
Sorry for the not updated site, but we had a small holiday and will start
again today.
Everything will be OK now.
If we forget something you can always remind us.
Thank you very much for your support.

Best Regards,
Nadia Petrova Management

I received a reply from Nadia's webmaster. Apparently he is no longer in control of the website. Someone in Russia is now re-designing the site for a re-launch soon. Unfortunately, I can't understand a word of Russianl; otherwise, I would be posting in the Russian version of her official site.

What does that mean? That she will have two websites now; one in english and one in russian? I don't understand any russian so it would be a pity to not be able to visit this page.
I think the russian site looks very good and there is already the logo of airness compared to her "old" site! But why not putting an english and a russian version on nadia-petrova.com

BTW: I would love to read a weekly blog or longer messages as well!

My best guess is that she has a substantial amound of Russian fans who do not speak English. Who knows, maybe the English version of the site will be integrated with the Russian one. I'll post more information as it becomes available.

That's because the English version is being reworked. They just posted the info to let us now that there won't be any updates until the new English site is ready.
