I just hope Tati can win a match here against this great field. I don't want her to start the season 0-2.

looks like a pretty good draw. she should know bartoli's game and one of the weaker seeded opponent if she wins.

Very good draw for Tati. Couldn't think of a better one. Bartoli was injured. Likhovtseva is slumping. And Myskina is not her normal self yet. No Hingis, no Skankpova, no Peng, no Nikkie and no Ivanovic. Couldn't ask for a better draw.

Please win your first match.

Tati is able to break through the draw but all we ask her is to win her first round vs Marion!
Please Tati :bounce:

I hate this draw. Why does Tati have to be in Myskina's section. Now I can only hope for Tati to win two matches and then lose to Myskina. Oh well.

Aww you're not an exclusive Tati fan! :awww:
But if Tati wins 2 matches in a row, it'll be fine :)

Ummm, idk what some of you are talking about because overall this one of the easiest draws she could have gotten. But we really just need to hope for her to beat Bartoli

Well, Marion withdrew from one of the event prior AO. But then again, I could be wrong .

wow. tati lost 6-3 6-0 to bartoli. if she can't play a closer match with marion, i don't want to see what the rest of the year holds. although i wouldn't be surprised if she just gave up in that 2nd set.

i also don't think we'll be seeing tarik coaching her for much longer.

but i'm not even really mad about this loss unlike the AO. i sure hope she'll figure something out since this is the worst stretch she's had as a pro. maybe talk to brad or go back to what worked in the past.

Yea it's a really crummy loss. I'm a wee bit schocked at the result in the 2nd. I hope Tati was just out played and didn't just give up. Tati's year is starting slowly but I know it's going to pick up soon. :)

It's her worst lost since a very long time.

I think that Tatiana is totally lost, and she don't a confident.

She must return to bolletieri's camp...

Terrible loss. Tati has never really found her game after her foot/ankle problems last season. She probably needs to start over and re-build her confidence and game with her team. I don't know if a new coach would do the trick, it seems like it's mostly a mental issue.

Wow. That is all that I can really say. She must have been really pathetic out there to lose by that embarassing scoreline.

Her season couldn't be off to a worse start. Something drastic really needs to happen or else her ranking is going to plummet like Karolina Sprem's did last year.

Well, I'm not to sure of what to say. Its a very disappointing loss, and some change has to be made if things are going to get better. Whether its a new coach, new fitness program, new whatever, but something has to happen
