Welcome to Hobart for the second week of Pick-Your-Winner in the 2006 season. The players here at the Moorilla International, on the beautiful island of Tasmania, will be sweating heavily in order to get their rankings up, for no points have to be defended until week. The Australian Open will be the season's first serious test, but Hobart enables the players to see the flaws in their game. Vote now as the Moorilla International continues with the second round of the main draw competition!
Don't forget to vote for Sydney & Canberra! For the men's tennis fans, there is plenty of voting to be done on MensTennisForums.com!

Fourth Quarter: Klara Koukalova CZE [2]
Two seeded players were toppled en route to the second round of the Moorilla International in Hobart. Mariana Diaz-Oliva of Argentina could not hold her own against Stéphanie Foretz of France, whose biggest success remains the elimination of Daniela Hantuchova in Québec City in 2004. American Jill Craybas, one of the players with a very poor win/loss record, faced Nicole Pratt, known for having an equally poor balance. In a battle, the Australian WC outlasted the American seed, to set up a meeting with Zimbabwean qualifier Cara Black.
Three of the four favourites advanced. Klara Koukalova struggled against British Anne Keothavong, but was the strongest after two long sets. Iveta Benesova and Michaëlla Krajicek encountered few problems in their matches. Elena Vesnina, however, lost in a third-set tie-break to Nuria Llagostera Vives of Spain, showing she did not deserve to be brandished a PYW favourite for this event.
Can Krajicek continue to dominate? How many seeds will fall this round? We will see once you vote for who you want to win these matches!
