heres my report (not very good as i missed most of the day)

Qualifying Round One:

Dolye bt wc-Allan 61 61

This match lasted well over an hour (surprising considering scoreling) - the 2dn game lasted over 10 mins!! Allan acquited herself well in a macth which she had no reeal chance of winning.

Round 2:

Irina Boulykina (Russia) bt Oxana Karyshkova (Russia) 6-3 6-0

didnt see this one

Chanele Scheepers (South Africa) bt Chiaki Nakajima (Japan) 6-1 6-3

I have taken a liking to Chanele, she has a very nice presence about her and is a solid player. also easy on teh eye ;)

Sofia Arvidsson (Sweden) bt Natalie Neri (GB) 6-2 6-1

Neri played well, but not brilliantly. Sofia was never in doubt.

Frederica Piedade (Portugal) bt Christina Zachariadou (Greece) 6-4 6-1

Didnt see

Jaslyn Hewitt (Aus) bt Yvonne Doyle (Ireland) 6-0 6-3

jaslyn was HOT and looks even HOTTER! :p A very good performance

Olivia Sanchez (France) bt Alexsandra Srndovic (Sweden) 6-1 6-2

didnt see

Laura Dell'Angelo (Italy) bt Karen Paterson (GB) 4-6 7-5 6-2

Match of the tournament so far. Paterson led 64 51 40-15 and then lost it. Her previously faultelss game fell apart as her more expericened opponnent got to grips with Karens power game. Karens head went down after teh 2nd set, but it was still ana amzing perforamce. Surprsisingly, she didnt seem too upest, more delighted that she had done so well. She has been taringin in engalnd with teh group who coach Baltacha. One to watch coem hard court season.

Mariam Ramon Climent (Spain) bt Aurelie Vedy (France) 4-6 7-5 6-4

Didnt see thsi one. But heard it was a godo, clsoe match.

Final Round:

Chanele Scheepers (South Africa) bt Irina Boulykina (Russia) 6-3 6-2

Im so happy Chanele won; Irina is a total bitch! After 2 bad call, she refused tos it down at teh break, pacing about bpuncing a ball. She frequently therew her racket and made gestures at teh umpire. Chanele was all oevr her.

Sofia Arvidsson (Sweden) bt Frederica Piedade (Portugal) 6-2 6-2

Didnt see it, btu heard it was one-way traffic.

Olivia Sanchez (France) bt Jaslyn Hewitt (Aus) 6-2 6-2

This was a sorry loss, everyone really eanted jaslyn to win (if only for publicity purposes). Jaslyn lost ehr earleir good form agasint a solid Sanhces how shone in teh sweltering conditions.

Laura Dell'Angelo (Italy) bt Mariam Ramon Climent (Spain) 6-2 6-4

Dell'Angelo seemed unaffected by her mammoth 1st match and cruised to a place in the main draw.

[b]I finnally met Lucie Ahl!! I sopek to her for about 20 mins with Rob (the guy whos lookign after me), and teh two stringers who are so much fun. This tournamnet is full of hot girls!!

Saw Bartoli practisisng, she is bloody good and is my moeny to win. She is double handed everywhere! She doest change ehr grip and has her hands miles apart, nevr moves them. Doubles ahnded at teh net! Drive voleyed a knee high shot. She is unbelievable. Shmae she isnt on 2morrow, would liked ot ahve watched her.

Paul :D

Good on you Jaslyn on finally stringing together some wins!

Pity it came to an abrupt halt :(

I know I've been very critical of her but I really do hope she can make a go of it.
