Fourth Quarter: Daniela Hantuchova SVK [2]
It is not the first time in the history of PYW that both top seeds meet each other in the final. Russia's Nadia Petrova will face Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova in today's final of the ASB Bank Classic in Auckland, New Zealand.
Petrova was considered the slight underdog in her semi final match against Australian WC Jelena Dokic, but defeated the Serbian-born star in three sets. Daniela Hantuchova, however, was never troubled by Maria Kirilenko. The smooth straight sets victory of PYW's former #1 prevented an all-Russian final from taking place.
