My best wishes to the bagel girls Davis and Loeffler-Caro as well.
Also, good luck to Aneta Soukop. Never heard of her before today but anyone who beats Martha is cool with me.

What would you all think of an exhibition between Nancy and Dewonder with special sudden death rules?
First one to get a game wins.

Just imagine if they played advantage sets? It might get to 100-98 until someone collapsed.

Welcome back Candice de la Torre! :D She gets a good first round vs. Amy Dillingham.
I read an interesting article about her.
Her mother died a few years ago and was pushed into tennis to "get her mind off of it" but didn't really want to go back. She did and struggled, and left the tour for a while.
When she left the tour, her aunt was like "her mother" and did all the motherly things. However, on September 11th, her aunt, who worked for the World Trade Center, was supposedly killed as they never found a body or anything and Candace went thru the depression again.
This time, however, she chose herself to go back into tennis and nobody wanted her to, but she said it felt good. She feels her aunt and mother with her on the court, so she wants to be back.
I like this girl now!
GO CANDACE! :D

Candace has quite the story... wow... she sounds like a very strong girl. :) Best of luck to her on her return to the tennis tour!! :)
She should have no problem in the first round, since she is playing Amy Dillingham, who is an old-timer like Dewonder and Nancy.
GO CANDACE! :)

Ashley and Ansley are both ranked high enough to get into the main draw.
