If Dementieva loses today, the Clijsters-Dementieva match tomorrow will be basically an exhibition. Elena has played too many exhibitions lately and it's not even off season yet!

Pfff, it really sucks that Kim is out. If you see who the 4 remaining players are: Sharapova, Davenport, Pierce and Mauresmo, Mauresmo does not fit in that group as well as Kim based on their results in 2005. If Kim would have been part of that foursome, it would have been a very representative group of players for 2005.

Just hope Kim can save the honour and win against Dementieva tonight.

actually Momo would fit in much better instead of Sharapova who has been practically non existant this year since she was out for a while.
but i agree that Kim should have been through too instead.
