(Hasselt) Kim Clijsters didn’t have too many problems winning her first match in Hasselt after leaving Filderstadt where she was too tired to play tennis. “I am very satisfied,” she said, “I have the feeling my batteries are loaded again.” Clijsters defeated Russian Ekaterina Bychkova in two sets, 6-1 and 6-3. Bychkova this year ousted Svetlana Kuznetsova in the first round of the US Open, Clijsters had seen that match and knew what to expect, adjusting her tactics worked and after 61 minutes the 2005 US Open Champion advanced into the next round.
