She defended her title this year (so that makes it two) and she was in all finals for the last 4 or 5 years. I'd say it's not that weird. ;)

totally agree with you QueenLindsay but you missed one fildestat would go with the others you have listed she has won all these tournements at least twice or is that three times.

You're right, it's Amelia Island: she won it 3 times, '89 def. Navratilova in SF and Graf in final, '91 (def. ASV and Graf) and '92 (def. Novotna, Martěnez and Graf); she also reached 4 more finals: 1988 (def. ASV, Graf in SF, l. to Navratilova), 1993, 1994 (l. both to ASV, defeated Pierce and Davenport in '94), and 1995 (l. to Conchita). Her overall record there is 43-8
