Why "finally"? Domachowska and Lisjak are now at 2-2 in their head to head...

Timea Babos could be dangerous, so be careful Marta.

Oh yes, I totally forgot about Poitiers :D I remember Bratislava much more, cause I was watching this match on streaming and even though Marta did not play awful, Ivana was just like a wall - whatever got to her was hit back immediately and in court. I thought she is 0:2 till today against Ivana

Babos doesn't seem to be in great form this year, but time will tell - if Marta plays consistent, she should win. If she is erratic, than I expect 2 sets win for Timea.

Final round against Kanepi, who is already in the main draw actually because even if she loses tomorrow, she will enter the main draw as lucky loser (according to the tournament's website) :( But if Kanepi wins and Falconi too, Marta could be the lucky loser because she's the third best ranked players remaining in the final round of qualies after them. I hope as well, because this tournament in Istanbul won't have many well-ranked players. Marta could be the 2nd seed in the main draw, so she could have some easy matches to win.

Adrian.
Jun 10th, 2011, 06:41 AM
Well, she is still on the list for Istanbul :)

seeds: 1st: CHAKHNASHVILI, Margalita
2nd: SIROTKINA, Marta
3rd: Marta
4th: TINJIC, Jasmina
5th: EVTIMOVA, Dia
6th: BUZARNESCU, Mihaela
7th: OZGEN, Pemra
8th: MIRCIC, Teodora

 really weak field, Marta really should reach at least SF. I hope she is in the half with Maka, Dia and Perma, then she really should reach the Final, where she might play against the other Marta :oh:

Tourun list is out

Marta is 29th ALT :o only with Prio 2
other Poles on the list:

- Linette, 8 out of MD
- Piter, 23th ALT

So, I think after the withdrawl-deadline, Linette could be in MD, so Kasia and Marta could get the WC's :)
I hope Marta will get one, as she is the Pole who won the most matches this year and also has a tournament win, while the other 2 have nothing till yet...

Really strong list with Oprandi and Begu :shrug:

Marta is also 11th ALT of Pozoblanco, 50.0000, ESP, Hard, Prio 3
and she is 53th ALT of Cuneo, 100.000, ITA, Clay, Prio 1 :tape::haha:

Jerem
Jun 10th, 2011, 10:43 AM
Some players in this entry list have prio 5 or even 6 for Torun
Magda should be in main draw (anyway she should get a WC if she can't enter directly), Marta should withdraw (she loves doing it), and Kasia could get a WC for main draw... But as I said, there are so many players with prio 2 or more that Magda, Kasia and Marta could enter this tournament (at least in qualies for the last two).

Many changes in the entry list of Torun today, with a lot of withdrawals...
Marta is now in qualifying, 13 out of main draw ;) And Magda has entered main draw, so she won't need any WC.
Kasia Piter is 10 out of main draw.

But there should be some changes again until the beginning of the tournament, as many players have prio 2 or more for Torun (only 8 players of the main draw have prio 1 as now, and not many more in qualies...).

Adrian.
Jun 15th, 2011, 10:08 AM

Now she has no point to defend until the end of July, so she MUST play some tournaments if she wants to play US Open qualies (but maybe she doesn'tn because it's to expensive...), or at least to stay in the top 300. But she can be back into the top 200 very soon if she plays like this week.

I hope she wins some matches in Torun (semi-final would be great) then she would be in TOP 200 :cheer:
Afterwards she should try to win another 25k ITF, maybe Aschaffenburg where she is on the EL, then she would have saved the 32 points from last summer and a plus of 18 points, and the field at 25k aren't that good :oh:

True. I am mad that Eurosport is Radwańska-centered. Lately they told some things about Marta while Rybarikovas matches for example (they actually mentioned Marta almost won against her). However they don't mention other Polish players - no word about Linette, Piter, Zaniewska... or many others who succeed at lower level. If someone is not deeply into tennis, he/she may think we only have 2 Polish tennis players - Radwańskas.

Marta is out of every ITF tournament after Bad Gastein, beside Samsun (TUR) 25k :spit:
But it's a quite good move from here, she will win there again and get easy 50 points + warm weather.
She is still on the list for Bad Gastein, so I guess she will play qualies there :)

well, Marta still lost no set in Turkey :haha::oh:
Tomorow it might be harder for her to win, but Dia Evtimova had problems during the last rounds, so maybe again in 2 :shrug:

All in all, she should win this whole tournament and then as well in Spain, where she will play next (25k)

Marta is in her 4th final this year (all in 25k)
She is playing against Putinseva after beating Evtimova 6-2 6-3 :cheer:

This is the last tournament, which will count for USQ cut-off, and with this result, Marta will be in around 190 if she wins and around 205 if she loses the final, so USQ is safe for sure :cheer:

Putinseva is very good for such a young player, age 16, but Marta should be able to beat her what with a huge advatage in experience. Is there a live score for the final, maybe bet365. I hope so. Look forward to Marta playing U.S. Open qualies.

Lost the final 6-7(6) 2-6

:spit:

I wonder what she choked away in the 1st set :spit:
Anyway, good tournament, 34 points = saved the last points from last season, so everything from now is bonus. :)
I hope she can make again QF or even more in Vigo this week, then take a rest and go to the US for USOQ :cheer:

Good luck girl :)

Marta's next tournament will be Koksijde (25k) she is in MD (10th)

she was with prio 1 in Bronx, where she had to play q, but withdrawn today

Will she play q in New York? I mean, she will get good money, even if losing in round 1 of q, and with a bit of luck, she might get some shitty player, like Rezai or Zahlalova or so :haha::oh:

Marta :drool::hearts::cheer: 6-4 6-2

Marta was down *0-3 15-40 but then raise her game to lead 5-3* saving BP at *4-3 30-40
she served out to love :cheer:
In the 2nd set she broke Kumiko to lead *1-0 and saved 3 BP's at 15-40 and 40-ad (2-0*)
She then broke Kumiko's serve again at 3-1* to lead *4-1
Marta and Kumiko hold then (5-1*, *5-2) and Marta served it out to 15 :cheer:
Marta won the 12 games out of the last 15 :yeah:

Serve stats: Marta: 5 Ace's/4 DF's (3 of them in the first 2 service games)/around 65% 1st serve, making around 70% point on it
Kumiko: 0 Ace's/9 DF's/around 60% 1st serve, making 50% points on it

Kimiko's best win was against Voskoboeva in March, but I guess Galina was out of form in this time :oh:

With this win Marta will be in TOP 200 again after the USO :cheer:

40-12 this year

Good luck next round against Birnerova :cheer::unsure::cheer:
