Marta I love ya:inlove:
What a great match this was:eek::bowdown:
Avarane was really playing good but just made too many UE's:shrug:
Here BHDL was really great:bowdown::yeah:
Well, and Marta...one of her best matches ever I think:dance::yippee:
Good serve, altough this 6 DF's:p, really great FH, like always, an ok BH, as always, but no choke at the end and that's new:eek::bowdown:
Kinda had a bad feeling at 63 46 02*:scared: but then she came back and overpowered Rezai very often.

Marta, well done and now even SF is possible:eek::bowdown:

From Sarah Borwell Instanbul blog

"A quick dinner, no dessert, we head up to Marta Domachowska’s room to help keep her nerves in check. Her boyfriend is a Swimming World Champion and he was competing in the semi-finals, trying to retain his title. With Marta sitting quietly, Grandin and I were both getting overly excited for the Polish swimmer, to the point where I would have quite gladly jumped up and down on the bed, but seeing as though it was Marta’s room and her boyfriend, I thought better of it."

She lost . But at least she fought back, at one stage I think she was 6-1 5-1 down, and she came back to win the second set 7-5. Unfortunately she lost the third 6-4. I thought she was playing well overall after the first set and a half.

Hmm, new coach. I don't think it matters very much how far he went in his career, as long as he and Marta have a good understanding. I suppose the Polish fans will eventually fill us in on details.

partial report of witness from TennisForum

Marta Domachowska vs. Barbora Zahlavova Strycova

So I arrived and Marta was right behind me marching on court.
They were warming up and Marta was just hitting a lot into the
net, so I was really worried she'd lose quickly to Barbora who
looked composed. I was so wrong in the first set. Marta didnt
let Barbora get away with any ball that wasnt really close to
the baseline. She was playing tennis like she did against Aravane
in Istanbul, seeing that I left at 3-0 to see Magdalena.
(I was soooooo shocked dto see she lost)

W najbliższą sobotę rozpoczną się Drużynowe Mistrzostwa Francji. Z okazji potrenowania przed nowym sezonem z klasowymi zawodnikami skorzystało dwóch naszych reprezentantów - Marta Domachowska i Michał Przysiężny.
Nasza trzecia rakieta polskiego kobiecego tenisa wystąpi w drużynie TC Cormontreuil (z miasta Reims w Szampanii).

Wystąpi w reprezentacji klubu AS Bondy.

Wczoraj koło mnie trenowali Matka i Frytka :o dzis trenowała Marta.

Now that new season is getting closer one question to you guys. Do you think Marta will be able to make her season different than previous ones. I mean since 2005 she's just one week good, then average, then one week terrble, all in all having a 22-25 win/loss ratio or something. It's maybe cruel but true, she's a good example of journey woman... I'd not be surprised if she's not that motivated or if she doesn't care, like she probably did when she was climbing in the rankings. What are your thoughts?

In the meantime: Spokojnych świąt :) Śniegu nie życzę bo pewnie wszędzie niestety więcej deszczu, w Poznaniu od wczoraj jest tragedia :(

It is difficult to say about Marta. She is definitely capable of getting back to the top 100 and better. I don't know, however, if she still wants to play tennis instead of concentrating on her man and building family. It seems to me that her original troubles stemmed from her biological clock ticking. I wish her the best in what she wants to do and I wish all of you Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to the ones who celebrate.

Seems like Katarzyna succumbed to the pressure of serving to stay in the set. Into the third. Marta should have the edge now, in theory, since she is serving first and has a little momentum from the second set.

Marta is the only one who plays out there...
Piter is only good at bringing back balls to the lines:shrug:

Marta made already more then 40 UE's:mad:
But as well at least 25 winner or more ;)

She just have to put the balls in the court and bashing a bit harder on the bh of Piter and we will get a bagel:shrug:

Go Marta:cheer:

Rain. I wonder if that is good or not for Marta. It will probably mean a brand new start, so the momentum from set 2 is gone, but as long as Marta focuses she should win.

yeah but not against Kasia - I push the ball back on the line and can't hardly hit a winner - Piter:hysteric:

Marta was leading 5-3* in first set after being down *0-3 and she totally messed it up:rolleyes:

In the 2nd set she was two times down with a break at 1-2* and 2-3* and got it together:shrug:

I really hope she can win it tomorow, as she won't be able to play qualies anyway at RG now:shrug:
